Veterans Valor Act

 

A Massachusetts statute passed in May 2012, that affords Veterans the opportunity to engage in treatment as an alternative to prosecution.

 

Before you are Arraigned

 

If you meet criteria below, please notify the probation department of your Veteran status and ask for an evaluation.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Have served in the US Military
  • Have no prior convictions after the age of 18
  • Have no other open cases, warrants, or appeals
  • Have been charged with an offense that carries potential imprisonment
